Tour A: THE Red Canyon
Sunday, October 7, 2007           Half-day tour - 09:00-13:00
Ascending the Eilat Mountains through Solomon’s Valley, the highest summit in the region, ‘Mt. Yoash,’ along the ancient pilgrimage route, will be visited. A stop will be made at ‘Ein Netafim,’ a spring of clear mountain water teeming with wildlife, before reaching the Red Canyon for a walk lasting about an hour.
Price:         US$45 per person, including lunch

Sunday, October 7, 2007        Half-day tour - 14:30-19:00
The sunset jeep tour enables participants to savor the changing faces of the desert as it changes from daytime to dusk and then to night, the most thrilling time to view the desert. It includes an unforgettable hike through the canyon of the Lost Valley and takes in a visit to pools populated by migrating flamingos. As the sunset fades into night, the desert comes to life and searchlights are used to spot nocturnal animals such as wolves and hyenas. The beauty and clarity of the night skies are legendary and the guide will point out various constellations and planets. A stop en-route will be made and in this unique atmosphere fragrant Bedouin tea and pitta flatbread, prepared on a small campfire, will be served. Bedouin legends will lend their own touch of magic to a fascinating evening.

Tuesday, October 9, 2007                  Half-day tour – 12:30-16:00                          
Visit the amazing underwater universe of the Red Sea without
even getting wet. From the Coral World Underwater Observatory
the wondrous world of the Red Sea can be observed:
world-famous coral reefs and shoals of tropical and exotic fish.
The tour includes entrance fees to the Park, the Oceanarium and
the Glass Boat.

Tour D: Guided SnorkelLing Tour
Tuesday, October 9, 2007              12:30 – 14:00
This option is suitable for those who choose to observe underwater life in the simplest way and is good for all age-groups from 8 - 70. Participants will be picked up from the hotel and taken to Eilat’s Coral Beach for a short briefing about snorkelling gear and safety precautions from a professional guide. This will be followed by a swim lasting 30 - 40 minutes along the beautiful coral reef of the Eilat Nature Reserve.
Price: $26 p.p.

Tour E: Introductory Dive
Tuesday, October 9, 2007            12:30 – 14:00
This dive is aimed for first-time divers who would like to experience the unique feeling of being
underwater surrounded by the colorful reef and exotic fish. Almost anyone between the ages
of 8 – 70 can dive. This dive includes the following stages:
- Signing a medical declaration. The dive is not suitable for
   those with specific medical conditions such as ear and heart problems,
   asthma, blood pressure, etc.
- Short briefing
- Dressing in diving gear
- Diving to a maximum depth of 6 meters
- One instructor with each first-time diver
Price: $55 p.p (25 minutes dive)

Tour F: Massada and dead sea
Thursday, October 11, 2007   Full-day tour - 08:00-17:30
Drive through the Negev via the Arava highway, and ascend by cable car to Massada, Herod's mountain-top palace and fortress. Built by King Herod the Great, King of Judea during the Roman era, this fortress served as the last refuge for 965 men, women and children, survivors of the ‘Great Revolt.’ Besieged by the Romans, and losing all hope, they chose death rather than surrender. Massada is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to the Dead Sea, and enjoy a special “floating” adventure in the saltiest body of water in the world, known for the therapeutic qualities of its mineral-rich water. The Dead Sea – the lowest point on earth, about 400m below sea level - attracts visitors from all over the world all year round.

Tour G: PETRA (Jordan)
Thursday, October 11, 2007             Full-day tour - 07:15 – 19:00
After going through the Arava border crossing into the Kingdom of Jordan, a 2-hour drive takes participants to the ‘Lost City of Petra.’ Having walked for half an hour through the imposing canyon (Wadi Siq) at its entrance, the awesome moment of stepping into Petra never fails to make an indelible impression on the visitor. Considered one of the wonders of the ancient world, Petra is an archeological, anthropological and geological phenomenon. A private guide will explain the history, legends, myths and truths of this astonishing city, carved 2,000 years ago from the red Sandstone Mountains. A buffet lunch will be served in Petra, followed by a visit to Wadi Musa, a small nearby village, as well as a city tour of Aqaba. Return to the Arava border crossing and Eilat in the evening.
 Price:               US$160 per person, including lunch

All cancellations must be notified in writing to the conference secretariat.
Refund of tours payment will be made as follows:
Cancellation received by October 1  – 80% refund. 
Cancellation received thereafter - no refund.
